How SDR's Should Start Their Day

Updated: Apr 22, 2023

As an SDR (Sales Development Representative), starting your day with a clear plan can help you stay organized, focused, and productive. Here are some steps you can follow to start your day as an SDR:

  1. Review your schedule: Take a few minutes to review your schedule for the day. Look at your calendar to see if you have any meetings, appointments, or follow-ups planned. Make note of any new leads or prospects you need to research or reach out to.

  2. Prioritize your tasks: Once you have an overview of your schedule, prioritize your tasks based on their importance and urgency. Identify the most important tasks that need to be completed first, such as following up with high-priority leads or scheduling appointments with key prospects.

  3. Check your email and CRM: Check your email and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system for any new leads or prospects that require follow-up. Review any notes or information from previous conversations to help you personalize your outreach.

  4. Plan your outreach strategy: Decide on your outreach strategy for the day, such as making a certain number of calls or sending a certain number of personalized emails. Create a list of prospects to contact and customize your messaging for each one.

  5. Take care of yourself: Make sure to take care of yourself before diving into your work. Eat a healthy breakfast, drink plenty of water, and take a few minutes to stretch or meditate to clear your mind and prepare yourself for a productive day.

By following these steps, you can start your day as an SDR with a clear plan and a positive mindset, which can help you achieve your goals and drive success for your team and organization.
